U.S. Stocks close in the Red (Market Trading)

Wall Street closed in the red on Monday, as US and Chinese trade officials launched a new round of talks on Monday aimed at resolving the trade war. Talks get underway a week before a scheduled hike in $250 billion US tariffs on Chinese goods and President trump warned that the climb to 30% from 25% will take effect if no progress is made. The Dow Jones lost 96 points or 0.4%. The S&P 500 shed 13 points or 0.5%. The Nasdaq retreated 26 points or 0.3%.
